In accordance with requirements of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 the Model Publication Scheme for Local Councils (core classes only) was discussed and adoption agreed.
Village Hall
The transfer of the Public Entertainment Licence to the new clerk had been completed.
A date was awaited from Pembrokeshire County Council (P.C.C.) Planning Department for a site inspection of the proposed skateboard area.
Skateboarding equipment previously removed from the Village Hall car park at the Council’s request had been moved onto the football pitch by persons unknown. The Council agreed that they would arrange secure storage for this equipment to prevent its use.
The forthcoming Bonfire Night being organised by the Youth Club was discussed and arrangements agreed to ensure the smooth running of the event.
Assistance was to be sought from P.C.C. Pest Control to eliminate mole damage from the sports field
Potholes on Fiddlers Lane on the approach to the Village Hall had been filled at the Council’s request.
Drainage
Welsh Water had advised that the promised village survey had been carried out and their report was awaited.
P.C.C. had advised that prior to installing additional surface water drainage at the bottom of Castle Lane it would be necessary to eliminate the mud and debris currently being carried onto the highway from the lane. The Community Council’s assistance was requested in identifying the landowners of Castle Lane.

Village Issues
Reconstruction of the bridge by the Old Mill by P.C.C. was reported to be almost complete. Once the area had been re-instated chippings were to be ordered to complete the Community Pride Project. Planed were to replace the fire-damaged information board and had also been asked to assess the condition of the bridle path between the Old Mill and the Ford with a view to aiding resurfacing.
The hedge opposite the Post Office was reported to be encroaching onto the pavement and the owners were to be asked to trim it back.
With the completion of the Parklands development the question was raised over when the roads would be completed and put forward for adoption by the County Council. The developers were to be contacted and a commitment obtained.
Details of the Manorbier Community Minibus were given and it was agreed the
hire charges would be displayed on the village notice board.
Following notification to the Council of the Pre-enquiry Meeting for the Joint Unitary Development Plan for Pembrokeshire previous concerns were discussed and it was agreed that further investigations and information were required before a decision could be taken on whether a formal objection would be made.

Traffic Issues
P.C.C. Traffic Department had surveyed the signage of the one way system and had agreed that updating was necessary. Plans were being drawn up accordingly.
Reinstatement of the yellow traffic calmers at the entrance to the village was awaited and it was agreed that P.C.C. would be asked for other suggestions as to how traffic speed through the village could be reduced.

Notice of withdrawal of planning application was received for a residential dwelling on land adjacent to Laurel Cottage
Notice of refusal of planning permission was received for erection of a dwelling at West View, St. Florence
